I first heard about Hogmanay while watching the Brit detective drama Shetland, reinforced by my on going obsession with historical fiction, writers such as Bernard Cornwell and his examination of the forming of what has become the modern England in his Last Kingdom series.
I am looking forward to your novel, and all that comes of it.
I loved it. The writing is terrific. As I read, it totally engaged me as I realized that my 3 sisters are the only three people in this world that have the same exact experiences and can totally relate to what she wrote. Can’t wait for the novel!❤️
